Puddles of Gold

This morning we left before dawn on our road trip. On I-84, just as the sun breaks over the horizon it hits bits and pieces of brush sticking out of the snowy hills and turns the landscape into a white oasis splattered with puddles of gold from heaven. It’s in these moments that the unspeakable and undeniable glory of God is evident. It’s in these moments were coincidental “explosions” of matter are so unlikely. God is laying His creation before us. All we have to do is open our eyes to His glory, the creation He made for us.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm 19:1

"since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."
